A MESSAGE FROM THE GOLF COMMITTEE

The St. Isaac Jogues Annual Golf Classic and Fundraiser has evolved into a highly successful event. Not only do we raise a significant amount of money for the Church, but it is also a real fun day. The main reason it works is participation by many people. Many thanks go out to all the golfers who have played over the past six years. A big Thank You goes out to the sponsors and to the individuals and organizations that have made silent auction donations, financial donations and services donations.

However a special Thank You goes out to all of the many volunteers who have supported the Golf Classic over the past six years. There have been over 70 volunteers who have assisted us with the activities both prior to the day of the Golf Classic and on the day of the Golf Classic.

Volunteers have sold chances for golf balls for the Helicopter Drop after all Masses on many
of the Saturdays and Sundays leading up to the day of the Golf Classic. Also, on those same Saturdays and Sundays, volunteers have assisted us in both showcasing the silent auction items and taking bids for the items. The volunteers have been a tremendous help in our success over the years. We could not have done it without them.

On the day of the Golf Classic, the volunteers do the following:

Work the Registration table
Sell Mulligans
Sell ball chances for the Helicopter Drop
Monitor bids on the Silent Auction Items
Answer any and all questions
Act as spotters on the hole where a golfer can win a car for a Hole-in-one
Act as spotters on the Beat the pro hole

Again, the volunteers have been a tremendous help in our success over the years, and we could not have done it without them.
