The Knights of Columbus Free Throw
Championship is a component of the council's service program for youth.
The competition is open to boys and girls ages 10-14, who capture the
title in their respective age and gender divisions by sinking the most
free throws in a fixed set of 15 shots (at the local level) or 25 at
higher levels of competition. Roughly 200,000 youths participate in this
competition each year. Below is a photo gallery from the 2006 competition:
